Peace, LOVE, and camp!

Hey everybody! Jamey here. Just wanted to send a quick update on the happenings. Meredith said she did the last one, so I'm on my own here. I'm not sure how entertaining I can be with nothing to play off of. Every good comedy team needs a straight man, you know. :)
So we're into our third day of camp at a terrific facility in a town called Fuzine. It's in the mountains outside the main city of Rijeka. Pretty place by a picturesque lake.
The first two days have gone extremely well. Thanks and praise to God! And to you for your prayers and thoughts.
The American team that we are working with is amazing. Terrific attitudes, personalities, and talents. They are connecting well with the campers. Speaking of which, I believe we told you we needed prayer for more kids this week. God provided 8 kids total and we are grateful for each one of them. Smaller numbers, but this is providing a tremendous opportunity for more frequent and meaningful interactions. Sometimes with larger numbers there are more responsibilities that bring more distractions.
Each day in camp has a different theme that connects to our weeklong theme of "Being Human". Today, we're looking at "Love". It's definitely a topic with potential for lots of discussion, and I can't wait to talk with the kids more about it. For now, I want to share with you a verse from our morning devotional today.
1 Thessalonians 2:8 "We [love] you so much that we [delight] to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our lives as well, because you [are] so dear to us.
Meredith and I want to send out our thanks to so many of you who have shown us your love through your encouragement, concern, and support. You have truly shared the good news of Christ's example of love, and we are spreading it as far and wide as we can. Know that we love you deeply in return. We miss you and are praying for our friends and family while we are here. Everything sown into the good ground and tended will bear fruit here and where you are. We know this and have seen the proof. Already, there is a young lady here who has been asking the Croatian christians great questions. She also asked for a bible of her own to read. Please pray that God will continue to touch her and the other campers.
